my brother
we where diving thru some pillings, and i looked up, and there he was, the light above him, both from his dive light, and the light coming thru the water, made for a great shot.
this spider crab put on a small show, i had to check the housing for my camera after this, he did get ahold of it. i was glad there was not even a scratch on it.
there was lots of these guys slowly moving like this, it was cool wacthing this. i have never seen a sun fish or star fish move like this. very intresting.
its rare to see a skate in mukilteo, i have only seen four skates now out of the three years i have been diving. its such a pleasure to take pictures of these small creatures. and on our way back to the exit point, we where greeted by the presence of a sea lion.
this is the last of the urchins for today. i just can't believe the various shades red in the sea urchins. just so awsome, i'm glad i had the chance to photograph them!
this sea urchin i got about a half an inch from it. i did it to get the colors to show a little better. i was not expecting to get this good of a shot!
the same cabazone, this time he got a little agressive. he bumped my brother and tryed to take his mask off. i wish i had the time to take that shot, but this one will have too sufice for now.
i took this picture of my brother when we reached our entry point, talk about long surface swims. i like it because it gives a diffrent type of reflection. instead of a reflection being on the top of the water, here it is under the water.
heres the inside of some types of ananomes. i took the picture because i thought it was cool looking. i had no idea some ananomes looked like this on the inside.
i like this orange spider crab, all i used was my dive light to light him up! and you can see my dive buddys dive light just starting to come thru on the other side on the bottum.
i used no light of any kind, and on this brontacle, i got 3 ( three ) nudibrachs. i like the pictures i take with next to none for light, and they turn out like this.
who new, if i took a picture of a card to white balance my camera white would turn out to be this white. i was helping my dive buddy get familiar with his new camera.
